Lost Property - left in a taxi
If you leave valuables in a London taxi there is a very high chance that you will get them back! London's licensed taxi drivers are extremely honest and will invariably hand any lost property in to the police within 24 hours. However, it may take a few days for the property to get from the police station to the Lost Property Office so don't give up hope if you cannot get your property back within hours of losing it. Keep checking - it will probably turn up.
